PROGRAM

Entrepreneurs who progress through The Eco-System, qualify to be selected to become part of The Co-LAB. Entrepreneurs who complete The full Eco-System are referred to as the ALUMNI. They provide MENTORSHIP for new entrepreneurs entering The Labit Eco-System. Furthermore, those who have completed The LAB have the opportunity within the Labit team to either do an INTERNSHIP or an APPRENTICESHIP to up-skill themselves and to gain workplace experience and opportunities for further growth.

MENTORSHIP

The Labit Alumni form part of a support structure for new entrepreneurs who come into the Eco-System. They offer their time and resources to provide guidance and business input from real life experiences and lessons learnt. This aims to fast-track new entrepreneurs to be able to deal with all the challenges that running a business may throw at them.

INTERNSHIP

Entrepreneurs who have completed The LAB and would like to seek employment instead of running their own business, have the opportunity to become part of the Labit team in the form of an internship. A focal point is workplace readiness and soft skills. This initiative provides the individual with valuable work experience necessary to become more employable.

APPRENTICESHIP

Entrepreneurs who have completed The LAB and want to venture into a specific career path instead of running their own business, have the opportunity to become part of the Labit team in the form of an Apprenticeship. The program aims to up-skill the individual in a specific field, giving them the required work experience to grow in their career path. They also have the opportunity to shadow an industry professional or study into the specific career path during the program.
